What Is A Shock Wave?

Leave a message

A shock wave is the propagation of a discontinuous peak in a medium. This peak causes a sudden change in the pressure, temperature, density and other physical properties of the medium.
When any wave source moves faster than its wave propagation speed, this wave form can be called a shock wave, or a shock wave. It is characterized by a jump change in the wave front, which creates a front. The physical properties of the medium at the front undergo a sudden change, causing strong destructive effects. Shock waves usually propagate through material media.
